* & HEADCANON — JIE & JOEL .
i never really expanded on their friendship so here are some highlights to it!
mentioned before, but they did have their own garage band back in the day ( before everything fell to shit in their respective lives ). and if the salty dogs are ever to get back together again.. this would be what they’d perform & this too.
jie is able to carry a conversation in korean, and joel is able to do the same in chinese. it’s one of the main ways they both communicated to the other’s parents when growing up!
while jie knows about joel’s friend passing / his spiral into alcoholism, joel doesn’t know the full details about what happened with jie’s family. he knows of the unfortunate circumstances that made the news ( the same goes with his friend ), but doesn’t pry further.
they’re dumb and dumber whenever hanging out together.

* & HEADCANONS – MISC .
oryn is fond of traditional tea sets. he also values the time of making / enjoying a full pot and sees it as almost sacred since it’s one of the very few moments where he can truly unwind and reflect honestly with himself.
chinmae is ass deep in wordle and he’s stupidly good at it. loves word puzzles of any kind and can often be seen scribbling away with a crossword book between deliveries.
if you gift chinmae something at any time ( but especially during a delivery ), he will be more likely to influence some good luck in your near future.
minji is, in fact, like a second mother to chinmae and does take up most of the other deliveries to those that are in her favor.
leaning into chanyeol’s secret hobby of making pottery. if he notices that there’s a dish or cup chipped in your cabinets, there’s really good chance he won’t come empty handed next time. some set of dishware made by his own hands will be offered ( in the usual chanyeol standoffish way, don’t worry ) and the quality / presentation of giftwrapping is often mistaken as him just buying it at some store.
as avid cooks, eun and suhyeon often trade recipes online but have never met in person ( yay cooking forums ).
jie and joel used to have their own garage band waaaay back in the day. jie manned the drums and joel belted out the vocals and guitar. they were called the salty dogs.
